What We Offer

South County Cheer is a nonprofit youth cheerleading organization in South Orange County, CA focused on providing young athletes the opportunity to grow in sport, community, spirit & achievement.

  • From July 1, 2026 - February 28, 2027 your athlete will work with YCADA Certified Coaches on stunting, jumps, tumbling, and sideline cheer techniques all while building character through the blend of doing hard things and finding joy in sport.

  • SCC Teams will meet for practice 3 times per week.

    Typically Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

    Practices will be held in locations centrally located within South Orange County - near Mission Viejo, CA.

    Times & Locations will vary by team.

  • At Cheer Camp, it’s more than just learning routines—it’s about building bonds that last long after the final cheer. Teams will sharpen their skills, push their limits, and support one another in a high-energy, positive environment. Cheer Camp is where spirit meets connection, and every voice contributes to something bigger than themselves.

    Stunt Clinics will be held for individual teams and all of SCC this season. These clinics will focus on increasing stunt technique and leveling up our teams’ abilities.

  • What is a cheerleader without her swag? Every SCC athlete will be given a spirit wear package that contains 3 practices tops, shorts, a practice bow and a jacket.

  • Every SCC Athlete is guaranteed the opportunity to participate in our SCC and AYC Showcases, at least 2 local competitions and JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas, NV.

    Additional Competition opportunities are also available and will be determined by team objectives and achievements.
